Our client, a Global Leader in the Media industry is looking for a Finance Operations Business Partner. Reporting to the Finance Transformation Director in a newly created position. This role provides financial business partnering and decision support to the Global Director of Operational Finance & Finance Transformation, and his central team to ensure their strategic and operational goals are delivered. The role has 3 main aspects:

- 40% 'Routine' Financial being: Management of the accounting, forecasting and budgeting for department spend, which is supported by the Bangalore captive shared services team. Management reporting, variance analysis, cost and headcount control, contract spend tracking, intercompany recharging, forecasting and budgeting.

- 40% Commercial Support being: Financial analysis & modelling for finance transformation initiatives such as new business case development, benefits tracking and financial risk management, commercial financial management of outsourcing contract, supplier/contract negotiations, KPIs, metrics and ad hoc decision support to the Global Operational Finance Director

- 20% Global Financial support being: Support to the Global Functions Finance Director, notably on the Finance Function Target Operating Model - Data analysis, benchmarks and metrics.

Ideally you will have experience in the below:

· Fully qualified accountant with 3+ years post qualified experience

· Experience of working within or supporting a shared services organisation

· Commercial / business partnering experience required

· Knowledge of the outsourcing delivery model, in particular in the finance & accounting sector

· Experience of contract negotiation and challenge of financial forecasts provided by suppliers

· Experience of developing and using metrics and KPIs, and pushing actions for improvement. This is in relation to the performance of our offshored and outsourced shared service centres, and the performance of in-market finance teams

· Experience in leading an accounting team remotely
