Finance Director

Due to a number of internal changes and a renewed focus on business growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Director at a well-known industrial firm in Aldershot.

Despite a challenging market, the company has experienced a positive past 12 months, and they are now looking to expand their international footprint. To support this vision, the newly appointed FD will be working closely with the CFO and business leaders to ensure the finance function is running smoothly, efficiently and effectively.

Main responsibilities to include:

• Developing and driving business strategy, working in partnership with the CEO/CFO
• Advising the board on key business critical decisions
• Working closely with department heads to gain a thorough understanding of all parts of the business to better tailor strategy
• Managing and developing a finance team of 8
• Building effective and influential relationships with key stakeholders
• Assessing and streamlining key processes
• Heading up high-level financial processes

This is a great opportunity for a natural leader and a confident senior team member. The ability to make a real difference day-to-day, take a hands-on approach to guiding and mentoring the finance team, and advising on best financial practice across the business is essential.

To do all this, you will need to be a fully qualified accountant with at least 4-years’ experience in a FD role, and an up-to-the-minute working knowledge of current legislations and regulations.
