Blackwaters is recruiting a Finance Manager for the EMEA region of a successful IT Services Group based in Woking.
Reporting to and working closely with the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Requirements:
- Preparation and processing of the necessary month-end journals
- Completion of the monthly / quarterly management accounts in accordance with the group finance guidelines and SOX
- Review of Monthly Income Statements
- Analytical review of Balance Sheet and Income Statements
- Preparation of a monthly bank reconciliation, supported by documentary evidence
- Preparation of a monthly cashflow forecast o Approval and processing of all required payments in a timely manner
- Oversight of ongoing transition of the region’s bank accounts to Bank of America
- Preparation of the quarterly/monthly VAT returns
- Monthly preparation of PAYE tax payments
- Coordinate with local advisors in their preparation of annual statutory accounts for the non-UK legal entities
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts for UK Holdings legal entities (with local advisor support)
- Annual preparation of corporation tax packs/returns for UK Holdings legal entities
- Servicing of the quarterly external and internal control / SOX Audits
- Daily AP and expense payment approvals o Monthly accrual of recurring AP expenditure
Ad Hoc Duties
- Ad hoc reporting and project work to assist the Finance Controller/Director and business as and when necessary
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
- Being the point of contact with external auditors and tax partners, ensuring all appropriate requirements are fulfilled to the required accounting standards
- Project work during the integration of any future acquired business, ensuring a smooth transition of processes
- Other duties as and when required
