Your new role

The expedient settlement of amounts due to suppliers and staff is an essential service for any organisation. As Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will have the key responsibility of supervising the effective and efficient operation and performance of the Accounts Payable section in line with Financial Regulations.

Consider your experiences in the following:

• Providing the supervision and financial expertise to the Accounts Payable team to ensure settlement of liabilities within the agreed payment terms
• Effective and efficient operation of the credit/purchasing card schemes
• Supporting of the Account Payable function, proactively seeking improvements to both the finance system and processes
• Embedding the Purchase-to-Pay and Expenses processes
• Leading and Managing the Accounts Payable section, recruiting staff with the necessary skills and competencies to perform the wider team roles and deliver a professional customer-oriented service
• Implementing KPIs and Service Level Agreements and manage the team's adherence to these
• Developing departmental understanding of P2P requirements through establishing cross
• functional liaison
• Awareness of changes and developments to systems and processes
• Building and maintaining effective relationships and communication channels

What you'll need to succeed
Detailed and proven experience within the AP function, at a supervisory level is essential to the successful placement of this role. Coupled with this firm understand the candidate should be comfortable with a role that relies heavily on ERP systems. With a strong work ethic you will utilise your excellent communication skills to influence change and inspire efficiency within the function.
