Finance Analyst – NHS
I have a fantastic opportunity with NHS England for a Finance Assistant based in Southampton. This role is a temporary assignment for 6 months, Monday to Friday and full time 37.5 hours a week.
Finance Analyst – NHS - Job Purpose
As the Finance Analyst, you will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering and working with the Contract Management team on all financial aspects of CCG contracts
You will support the Senior Finance Manager and their team to ensure that their work stream of end of year agreement of balances exercises are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery.
In particular you will support to assist in the preparation of CCG 5 year plans by analysing accountable areas long term implications of funding shortfalls, initiatives, redesign or contract variations.
You will ensure that there is accurate provide detailed management and performance reports for inclusion in the monthly reports for the CCG against key performance indicators in a format that enables complex information to be understood by non finance staff.
Finance Analyst – NHS - Key skills:
You will need to have a background in Finance or Accounting within the NHS or similar Public Sector Environment as well as a good administrative background
The perfect candidate would have experience of using Oracle, Excel and Ledgers/Reconciliation from either a bank, creditors or NHS background.
