Transactional Finance Manager

Adjacency are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager for a Bristol based organisation who are experiencing a period of rapid growth. This role comes with a basic salary up to £33,000 (dependent upon experience), onsite parking and other benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide management of sales and purchase ledger functions
• Manage a team of 4, including 2 purchase ledger and 2 sales ledger Finance Assistants
• Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and customers
• Ensuring smooth, timely and accurate processing of all supplier & customer invoices
• Ensure all debt is collected within terms agreed with customers and that customer debt is managed within credit limits
• Ensure all supplier payments are made in line with payment terms
• Manage escalated supplier and credit control issues
• Control of short term working capital facilities
• Continuously drive process improvements

The Person:

• At least 4 years’ experience of managing both sales and purchase ledger functions
• A track record of managing and developing people
• Confidence in communicating both internally and externally
• Understands the importance of working to deadlines, along with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Committed to continuous personal development
• The ability to work autonomously with resilience and composure in the face of pressure and deadlines
• Resilient when speaking with customers and suppliers
