A leading organisation based in Gloucester are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join their growing team. The purpose of this role is to add challenge and strategic thinking to one of the most important areas of their business. In this role you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, business insight, planning and decision support. You will identify opportunities for improvement, work the senior management to enhance and support decision making, review and analyse performance against strategic and tactical objectives. A forwarding thinking, value add approach will be essential to succeed in this role. As the business moves forward they are looking to establish a full business partnering model so this role will play a key part in making this this happen.

 

Day to day responsibilities include:

- Support the Finance Business Partners during the re-forecast and budget processes for the Divisions and Group

- Drive Month end and quarter end reporting, including production of a regular MI pack

- Support the Activity Based Costing process for the Group

- Engage with the business and understand business dynamics, costs and benefits. - Research, organise and present relevant business MI

- Assist in the development of business planning models for the production of business forecasts / budgets and business plans.

-Participate in department/Group projects as required

 

Experience and personal attributes required include:

- Fully qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, ACMA

-  Excellent relationship building and communication skills

- Immediately engaging and able to adapt personal style as required to achieve full buy in and long term commitment

- Demonstrable financial knowledge of modelling, analysis, evaluation, and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- Ability to gather and analyse internal and external data from a wide range of sources in order to drive commercial insight
