Head of Finance

We are working with a listed engineering business to source a commercially aware finance professional with extensive experience gained in large contract environments. Forming part of the senior management team the role will partner with both the Managing Director and Commercial Director responsible for a number of large contracts.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

• Day to day line management of a multi-site finance function
• Internal and External Financial Reporting
• Ensuring the consistent use of financial processes
• Providing overall assurance of financial controls and adherence to corporate governance
• Providing advice and support to Commercial Finance and Business Managers
• Coordinating and managing internal and external audits

To meet the essential requirements of the job description you must be:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with experience of people management
• Skilled in financial control and commercial finance, with strong stakeholder management experience
• Able to demonstrate achievements in continuous improvement and process re-engineering
• Able to demonstrate work experience in a geographically dispersed project based business
• Flexible to travel with a full driving license
