Project Accountant

My client is a high profile property development company with several major projects under way around the UK. In order to progress the development of the finance team, a qualified Project Accountant is being sought to work closely both with the Director of Finance as well as the development & project teams.

The major responsibilities of the role will be:

• Monitoring business plans and managing budgets and cash flows
• Ensuring committed expenditure remains within approved Business Plan levels and expenditure approval protocols are observed
• Organising funding requests from external parties
• Managing relationship between finance and the development team
• Organising funding requests in a timely manner
• Preparing bank reporting packs that are required by banking facilities drawn against strategic land assets
• Assist CFO and Head of Finance on ad hoc issues

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant who has already had exposure to the property development sector, the prospects are excellent, and there is great scope for creating a bigger role in due course.
