Description
Role Summary:
This is a tax advisory role, focused on the provision of professional advice to front office teams on new products and transactions, as well as the monitoring and management of tax risk. There is also potential to be involved with other tax projects such as M&A transactions.
Job Responsibilities:
- provision of tax advice on transactions and products
- provision of tax input to internal approvals processes for new businesses
- developing and monitoring internal controls to manage tax risk
- co-ordination with external advisers and tax colleagues in the US and Asia regarding cross-border transactions
- monitoring changes in tax law and analysing impact on businesses
- liaison with the compliance and reporting team to ensure correct treatment of transactions in tax returns and audits
- assistance with tax implications of projects
Profile
You will be a qualified Tax professional either ACA/CTA or ACCA. This will suit a high performing individual looking for their first move from a Financial Services group of the one of the large Accounting/Advisory firms or someone with a strong FS Tax background looking to continue their career further in house. Front office experience is an advantaged but required, however, you will need to be a high performer both academically and professionally.
Job Offer
Between £50,000 and £75,000 plus bonus, pension and private health care
