My client is a privately owned and well-established real estate fund manager with interests in the UK, Europe and Asia. They have had strong and continued success with the main business focus being retail property funds. They currently they manage a portfolio worth over £2 billion.
Due to the acquisition of a new £1 billion fund, they are seeking a strong and capable Financial Accountant to join their team in London. This role will involve providing financial control and oversight services to the new fund; additionally you will be tasked with producing monthly management accounts and cash flow reports. The successful candidate will report to fund’s FD, as well as the Group COO and CFO on a wider business scale and will further assist with preparing budgets, annual statutory accounts and support with preparation of business plans and investment appraisal.
To be considered for the role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience within the financial services industry – ideal with fund management experience. Exposure to property fund manager will give you a distinct advantage. First rate communication and presentation skills are essential as well.
