Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Our client is currently looking for an FP&A Manager to join them on a 9 month maternity cover contract. You will be providing comprehensive Management Accounting analysis to the senior management, the board and external stakeholders for the group.

Responsibilities include:

• Being an expert in the creation, interpretation and presentation of Management Accounts to provide senior management with relevant information in to make informed decisions.
• Prepare the monthly board pack while consolidating analysis from across the business to provide an accurate Executive summary.
• Prepare Group Management accounts, working closely with Financial Control.
• Prepare weekly Executive information to provide an up to date insight of the Group performance.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain a close working relationship with Investor Relations.
• Establish effective models for financial Analysis
• Provide adhoc analysis as required to board, senior management, the Executive and Regulator.
• Line manage and coach 1 direct report.

The successful candidate will have:

• A recognised professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
• At least 3 years of experience in Management Accounting and financial management commentaries
• At least 3 years of experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Good level of Excel experience.
