RK Accountancy are currently working with a well-established company who have an urgent requirement for a Payroller to join their team based in Halifax.
£18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience
Key duties include:
* Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for 400 employees
* Calculating Statutory payments SMP, SSP, SPP
* Administrating the company pension scheme
* Maintaining cashbooks
* Keeping up to date with employment law changes
* Deal with any queries including Maternity and Sickness pay
* Set up new starters and leavers
* Any other duties as and when required
The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills along with previous experience in using Sage Payroll and a good knowledge of Tax, NI, SSP and SMP.
