Your new role
As a Senior Project Accountant, you will be working with and assisting the Project Finance Manager in the financial management and control covering many varied projects . Providing high quality financial support, analysis and advice to the Project and Management teams to ensure successful contract execution and delivery of targets
This truly commercial MI role will require strong business partnering, working with a wide range of key stakeholders within the business.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Project Accountant will involve:
Providing Project Accounting support and analysis, challenge and advice to the Project teams through bids, project risk reviews, complying with all elements of processes and application of the company's finance policies and financial controls.
Completion of all robust weekly and monthly budget and forecasting as required
Analysing, review, challenge and advise on performance data; ensuring data integrity between the various systems
Maintaining and reviewing of the project contract status reports and summary status reports, including relevant comments to aid management understanding of movements and variances

What you'll need to succeed
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong Excel skills
Project Management experience
Strong analytical skills
SAP experience is desirable
Competent user of MS excel and power point
Experience within the engineering / construction or contracting sectors are beneficial
