Pricing Analyst

Athwal Resourcing are looking for a Pricing Analyst for a newly created position to join a UK-leading manufacturing company based in Birmingham. A commercial mind set, head for data analysis and stakeholder management experience are crucial elements to this dynamic role.
The role will entail:
Pricing - Rationalisation and also the standardisation of the multi sales price lists into a master sales price list and be fully responsible for maintaining the pricing card database for the UK sales team and being the single point of contact for pricing queries;
Margin Analysis - Be instrumental in developing a system by customer and products to monitor the margins and collation of data to identify low or decreasing margins;
Monthly Reporting - Provide a monthly report to UK Sales Manager and maintain a dashboard of KPIs;
Operational - Provide support to field based sales teams and liaise with colleagues and customers at all levels, particularly the cost teams and the operational shop floor;
Standard Costing: Take the lead to understand the Bills of Material and routing of the production cost;
Continuous Improvement - Collation of manufacturing data, raw material and operational costs, and monitoring thereafter.

The Ideal candidate will:
Be of graduate calibre with a related degree in accounting and finance aspiring to work closely within finance;
Ideally a part qualified CIMA with at least 12 months working experience in a pricing analyst role or worked closely with finance would be advantageous;
Analytical mind with Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills and data analysis skills;
Excellent time management and organisation skills;
Have an eye for detail;
Want to improve the current systems and processes;
Be an engaged team player that can work alone and as part of a sales/finance team.
