WorkwithYork have partnered with a successful York based business working internationally to recruit an experienced Management Accountant. 

Job Description 
This role will work across all Management Accountant duties. This is an important role for the business as it sits at its core and is integral to the businesses continued growth.

Working in a small but well established team the duties are diverse but will include;
•    Producing monthly accounts
•    Balance sheet reconciliations and discussion with budget holders
•    Cash flow forecasting and impact
•    Project accounting duties
•    Annual budget forecasting and coordination
•    Year end reporting for group and all regulatory returns
•    Overseeing day to day activity on Sage 
•    BACS authorisation and aged debt reporting
•    Due diligence when required
•    Ensuring the team strategy is adopted and being mentor to the team

Person Spec 
This is an important role within this business so if you’re right for this role then you will have;
•    The desire to make the team and function the best it can possibly be
•    The understanding that you may need to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in!
•    Significant demonstrable working experience across a broad range of accounting activities
•    Excellent communication skills including the ability to make technical concepts understood outside of the finance team 
•    The ability to work to strict deadlines effectively
•    The skills to be forward thinking, creative and willing to think outside the ‘box’

The salary is dependant on experience but is competitive for the right candidate. 

Location of this role is a 20 minute drive from York City centre and can be accessed by public transport.
