An established manufacturer based in High Peak is seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the Management Accountant your key responsibilities will include :

Supporting the preparation of the monthly financial statements including Trial Balance, Income Statement and Balance Sheet
Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
Monthly reporting including variance reporting, sales & margin analysis and inventory analysis
Assistance in the preparation of the annual Standard Costs.
Assisting in the preparation of forecasts and budgets as required
Liaising with internal and external audit as appropriate
Provide relevant, meaningful financial information to other departmental managers to assist business decision making
Carry out special ad-hoc projects under the direction of the Finance Manager/Financial Controller
Maintaining of Fixed Asset database, including depreciation
Monthly preparation of the UK VAT return with quarterly submission
Support in the completion of the annual stat accounts and corporation tax submissions.

You will ideally be part qualified CIMA and looking to continue your studies and progress your career. You will be a strong team player and have good communication and presentation skills.
