Gleeson Accountancy Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with our multi-site, award winning, high profile client on the outskirts of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire who require a Credit Controller to join their growing team, initially until the end of April, with a potential for extension subject to performance. This is a superb opportunity for individuals seeking their next credit control role, who have already some gained relevant and recent experience in a similar environment, and you will receive full training in this role.

Reporting directly into the Credit Control Supervisor, as a Credit Controller, your duties will include:

• Posting receipts into Oracle, Bacs, cheque and card payments
• Preparing cheques, and dealing with cheque rejections
• Taking calls / contacting customers for payment, via telephone and email
• Preparing paperwork for customer Bacs refunds
• Any other adhoc tasks to assist the team
• Answer incoming and return customer telephone calls promptly and professionally

Knowledge, skills & experience as a Credit Controller

• Preferably Oracle or SAP Experience, but full training will be given
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills preferably
• Good standard of general Education, including numeracy, written and spoken English language
• Eye for detail
• Excellent telephone manner
• Cash posting experience essential
• Good attention to detail
• Hard working, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Able to communicate at all levels
