Payroll Administrator

£18-£21,000

My client, a growing Accountancy Practice based in the Cannock area, are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator on a full or part time basis to fully support their well established and thriving Payroll Bureau.

This practice has a varied client base of owner managed businesses, partnerships and limited companies. They provide a broad range of general accountancy services to these clients. As this is a new opportunity we are in the position to consider candidates who are looking for a pure payroll opportunity or perhaps looking for a mix of payroll and bookkeeping duties.

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience of working in a similar environment is a must
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • This is a client facing role so it is essential that you have strong communication skills
  • Ability to quickly resolve queries
  • Previous experience of using Sage Payroll is beneficial
  • Experience of auto-enrolment and Pensions
  • Previous experience of bookkeeping to trial balance would be beneficial
