Our client a successful Charity based in Leicester are looking to add a Qualified Accountant to their small team on a Part Time basis (approx 20 hours with flexibility to increase if required).
Reporting to the Financial Controller and Business Director the role will include but not be limited to:
* Production of monthly management accounts including commentary
* Reporting and analysis of expenditure by project.
* Liaison with project managers to ensure they understand the current financial position of their projects.
* Assisting project managers with finance applications
* Creation of budget model.
* Liaison with project managers and Director to produce annual budget.
* Production of statutory accounts and responsibility for successful completion of independent review / audit.
* Filing of accounts with Companies House.
* Validation, coding & analysis of payroll.
* Responsibility for cash book, sales, purchase and nominal ledgers including transaction input, maintenance, reconciliation and period / year-end processes.
* Responsibility for payment of suppliers, collection of outstanding debtors and reporting on both to project managers and Director.
* Implementation and support for the roll out of a web based purchase order and invoice approval system linked directly to the companies accounting software.
* Reconciliation and reporting for bank accounts, petty cash and credit card expenditure.
