Frazer John (Finance) are currently partnering with a manufacturing business based in Warrington in the search for a Financial Reporting Manager, The time is right to join, as you will be given the opportunity to develop in unison with the company's aggressive growth plan. The role has a great mix of commercial and technical accounting, and is an exciting and varied vacancy.

Main Job Purpose:
 
The new role would report directly to the Finance Director, with the remit to:

  1. Improve internal reporting across operations to drive business performance
  2. Support the increased reporting requirements
  3. Support the commercial and financial month-end reporting process
  4. Oversee the preparation of forecasts, the AOP and other reporting requirements.
  5. Provide other support to the Finance function
  6. Provide cover for the payroll function.

Key Tasks / Drivers:
 
Improve the internal reporting across operations to drive business performance:

  • Production of a weekly R&M report for the factory
  • Production of the weekly wages and overhead recovery reports for the factory
  • Other new reporting to be agreed with the Operations Director.

Support the commercial and financial month-end reporting process:

  • Manage and report on promotional, discretionary and central marketing spend
  • Management of the manual upload files for the Qlikview Net Profit System
  • Provision of a monthly cashflow forecast plus analysis of any variances to forecast
  • Provision of monthly cases and servings data for Group..
  • Provision of group quarterly sales, P&L and Balance sheet analysis
  • Provision of monthly working capital anaysis

Oversee the reporting requirements of the wider Group

  • Preparation of quarterly reforecasts, including revised P&L, Balance sheet and cashflows
  • Preparation of SAP reforecast load files for Group.
  • Agreeing the timetable with all internal departments for the production of the annual budgets (and overseeing the process to ensure the process is completed in-line with the agreed timetable)
  • Preparation of SAP budget P&L and Balance sheet uploads for Group
  • Preparation of the budget pack including supporting analysis and narrative.

Provide other support to the Finance function:

  • Management of the company medical insurance scheme
  • Management of the company death-in-service scheme.

Provide cover for the payroll function:

  • Contingency cover only - experience preferred not necessarily required
  • Process of weekly and monthly payroll, utilising the Company time and attendance system.

Qualifications / Skills Required:
 
Preferred Experience

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Month-end reporting
  • Payroll experience.

Salary

£40-£45K Dependent on experience + Outstanding Benefits.
