Management Accountant

The SF Group in Lincoln are recruiting now for a Management Accountant for a dynamic, innovative and developmental business in Newark. You will be reporting into the Finance Manager, ideally you will be part, or newly qualified accountant who is ambitious and career focused.This role is an excellent position that will develop well, and progress at a healthy pace.

If you are a candidate that has 3-5 years experience in an Assistant Management Accountant or in a Management Accountant role, then please do take a look through the following key responsibilities as you could well be perfectly suited to this position. You will provide comprehensive financial support service to this fast-paced business, providing valuations of budget and operational assumptions. 

Key Responsibilities:

• To produce weekly management information, and monthly packs, relating to separate site contracts
• To process internal cross charges and trial balances
• To provide and interpret financial information relative to separate contracts
• To monitor cost flows and to identify future trends
• To evaluate ways to cut costs and present viable options to the Finance Manager
• To manage budgets and provide accurate information and costing; providing a detailed variance analysis breakdown against Budget/Forecast.
• To process figures to identify shared gain
• To ensure that all purchase orders and supplier invoices are logged and processed
• To hold petty cash and manage expenditure of sundries in conjunction with Finance Manager
• To ensure data and information is kept confidential at all times
• To undertake all other tasks as reasonably requested by the Finance Manager
• To ensure Customer KPI reports are completed accurately and timely
• To produce reports as required by the Finance Manager
