Interim Project Accountant

Our Client based on the outskirts of Wakefield have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent Accountant to join them for an initial 3 month contract period, to assist them through a project to improve reporting and work towards a new system in a particular area of the business.

The role will take responsibility for ensuring the reporting in the new acquisition meets current business standards as well as improving existing reporting deadlines to bring them in line with BAU timescales.

The successful candidate will take the lead in preparing audit schedules and ensuring accurate production of the year end accounts.

The role will focus heavily on the existing reporting to ensure it is in the correct format and the information contained is robust and insightful as well as accurate.

The role would suit an individual from both an accounts preparation and project background, someone who is confident in their technical abilities and communication skills, who is able to challenge and drive change.

The role will require travel between sites, all based within 45 minutes of Leeds.
