Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting an Interim Service Charge Accountant for a leading housing association based in London. The role will join a dynamic team on an interim basis for a minimum period of 3-6 months.
This is a twin facing role that will provide support to the Rent Finance Officer and the Head of Finance. The purpose of the Service Charge Accountant is very much a varied role; you will be responsible for setting up service charge contracts, reporting on service charge performance, ensure timely payment of all invoices and journal entries. In addition to this you will also complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, assist with posting of cash and other rent income journals.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in completing reconciliations, posting journals and have the knowledge to assist with year end procedures. You will need a high level of numerical and literacy skills in order to be successful in this role. Experience of housing or property is essential and previous experience of Orchard would be advantageous for this post.
You must be immediately available or on a very short notice period. This role is likely to be filled before the closing date so please do not hesitate in applying.
