NHS client is looking for an Operational Finance Manager for the next 4 months
This is a key commercial role in the finance team and requires an individual to advise on high quality information, advice and challenge budget holders and ensure that sound financial management and budgetary controls exist at all times.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Monitor and challenge quality and efficiency of operational teams.
- Work with Operations colleagues to identify and deliver CIP savings as required by the trust
- Ensure Financial forecasts provided by budget holders accurately reflect latest information
- Production of accurate, reliable and timely financial information in order to support managers and budget holders
- Provision of expert financial support and challenge to the operational management team
- Provision of timely and accurate financial information and commentaries for internal reporting
