Client Details

Having the key core finance skills, the resource would be expected to become a key member of the senior team of this business unit and play a key part in day to day management, control and future strategy.

Description

  • Ensure all weekly, monthly and annual reports are completed on tim

  • Compilation and preparation of periodic budgets/ reports and forecasts

  • Ad hoc tasks and project

    • Ensure that contract/project set-up and transaction recording is in accordance with relevant accounting policies, group measurement rules, and that corporate procedures are followed

    • Actively monitor business performance. Ensure follow-up of issues, with relevant managers

    • Actively monitor contract/project performance. Provide support, in conjunction with other functions such as Operations and Legal, on problem contracts. Ensure correct accounting treatment

    • Actively manage the balance and P&L

    Profile

    • CIMA or ACCA (ideally full qualified)

  • Advanced Excel

  • Financial Modelling

  • Cost Control

  • Cash Management

    • Experience working in a time critical environment

    Job Offer

    £45,000.00 per annum plus benefits
