Audit Semi Senior

Axon Moore is currently recruiting an Audit Semi Senior for a boutique accounts practice in Wigan. The successful candidate will continue their career within a reputable firm taking on responsibility for leading elements of the audit whilst developing a junior team below them. The successful candidate will be ambitious with aspirations to finish their professional studies quickly to progress within the practice. This is a high calibre finance team and they are well known for investing in their employees.


Key responsibilities include:

• Completing audits with businesses around the North West.
• Examining and assessing financial statements in line with laws and regulations.
• Computing taxes, preparing tax returns, ensuring taxes are paid.
• Inspecting account books and accounting systems.
• Organising and maintaining financial records.
• Providing clients with recommendations on efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures.
• Assessing financial operations and making best-practice recommendations to management.
• Suggesting ways to reduce costs, enhancing revenues, and improving profits.

 
Key attributes include:

• Previous audit experience.
• ACA or ACCA part-qualified.
