Management Accountant - Qualified

Our client, a thriving retail business in South Manchester, seeking to recruit a Management Accountant to join the finance team. The management accountant will supervise one assistant accountant and report directly to the Finance Manager. Key responsibilities will include: production of timely management accounts; detailed analysis, develop reporting and MI; develop and improve group cashflow forecasting; complex balance sheet reconciliations; support year end and external audit process; develop an understanding of operations, and support operational staff in all finance matters and monthly performance reviews; ad hoc projects as required.

The ideal candidate will hold a  formal accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA or ACMA) and have relevant management accounts experience. You should be seeking an opportunity that will allow you to develop your skills as you progress within the business. Strong IT skills including Excel will be essential in this role, as will the ability to communicate with both finance and non-finance colleagues across the business.
