The Opportunity
Our client is a PE backed international services organisation. This market leading Group are investing in international acquisitions, infrastructure projects and organic growth. The Board are looking to recruit a high calibre commercial analyst to join the Executive team in a new key role.
This broad role leads the global planning process and supports the Board with forecasting, analysis, ad hoc investment projects and business case scenario’s.
Working directly with the Board and Investors, candidates should be experienced in M+A and Financial Planning, Analysis, Budgeting, Cash flow modelling and stakeholder management. You will be a quick thinker with a high level of intellect to operate at the top table in this high calibre business environment.
Reporting to the CFO there is a defined career plan over the course of the PE investment for the right candidate.
The Role
Role responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting cycles preparing the Group level presentations for key stakeholders.
- Ownership of the Group’s debt, equity and cash flow models and presentations for Board and Investors.
- Create KPIs supporting financial plans and acquisitions on strategic business forecasts.
- Working with the Group to prepare reports developing MI for the Board and Investors.
- Month end analysis and financial modelling for investors and banking syndicate.
The Requirements
Candidate profile:
- High calibre degree and accounting qualification (ideally ACA)
- Strong Financial Planning & Analysis experience with advanced modelling skills
- Experience in providing accurate and effective MI.
- Ability to build rapport and effective working relationships with senior business stakeholders.
- Very good written communication and presentation skills.
