UK Reporting Accountant

We are currently partnering with one of Gloucester's most recognised employers in their search for a UK Reporting Accountant, initially on a 1 Year FTC.  Personal and career development are at the heart of our clients core values so this could be an excellent first move from practice into industry or step up to the next level. The key deliverables of this role are:

- Timely and accurate reporting in line with group deadlines and requirements.

- Managing month end reporting according to the agreed timetable.

- Analysing and advising on complex accounting issues and ensuring you are up to date with Accounting Developments in order to support the business with interpretation UK GAAP, IFRS and VAT

- Preparation of UK GAAP statutory annual report and financial statements for UK entities

- Managing intercompany process: support raising of intercompany rebills; code intercompany invoices received and reconcile balances at month end following standard group processes.

- Supporting the preparation of government corporation tax and government statutory returns via provision of financial information to colleagues.

Suitable candidates for this role will be:

- ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent. (If you are a passed finalist or awaiting exam results you will be considered if you have adequate, relevant experience)

- Statutory reporting experience

- Clear and concise communication skills

- Experience of SAP

- Working knowledge of US GAAP desirable
