Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for the role of Financial/ Investment Accountant to work with a successful organisation based in Birmingham City Centre. Duties of the role will include:Assisting the Group Accountant and Group Financial Accounting ManagerProvide investment returns and asset data to agreed deadlines and quality measures for quarterly Balance Sheets.Ensure appropriate asset data quality controls are applied on a monthly basis, including valuation and completeness controlsProvide monthly balance sheet account reconciliations within monthly reporting deadlines with analytical review commentary where appropriate.Review month end trial balances and investigate any unusual items.preparing annual subsidiary statutory accounts and pension scheme accounts where required.Provide investment accounting disclosures for Group tax calculations, including the provision of investment income schedules and capital gains schedules.Provide disclosures for all statutory and regulatory reporting including the Annual Report and Accounts.
