Our client, a world leader in their field, are looking to recruit a commercially astute Financial Controller to join their site in Hull. Reporting to the Finance Director and managing a team of 5 your duties will include;

Ensure the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for local and Group management
Responsibility for all journals including review of month end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems
Production of statutory accounts for the Group
Overseeing weekly process of payroll and payment to employees
Production of periodic reports to the Group's Audit Committee
Ensure returns for Corporation tax, VAT and other relevant taxes are submitted on time
Manage cash flows with respects to payments and credit control forecasting
Effectively manage, motivate and develop the Finance Department
Liaise with different departments to ensure the Finance Department is properly supporting the needs of the business.

You will be fully qualified with a high level of commercial acumen with experience of managing and developing a team. You will play a full part in providing relevant and timely information to the Directors to enable a balanced and objective assessment of the Group's strategy and objectives.

Salary guide £48000 - £52000
