Finance Manager

The SF Group are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager for a market leading manufacturing company close to Ashbourne. You will be the number one in finance on site, and manage a small finance transnational team.

As the Finance Manager you will reporting into the Head of Finance and provide full financial support to two sites, by reporting functional and business performance and undertaking analysis of potential new projects and evaluating their value and making recommendations as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a small team
• Completion of monthly accounts
• Completion of Annual Statutory Accounts
• The issue of monthly financial reports and commentary
• Financial forecasting in line with reporting standards
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Cashflow management including review and approval of all payments
• Manage the annual planning process
• Manage the budgetary control process
• Commercial finance business reporting and analysis
• Capital appropriation request coordination and workflow management
• Capital expenditure controls and reporting
• Main point of contact for Internal control compliance and reporting

You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalentt) or qualified by experience with strong manufacturing experience. You will be commercially astute, with experience of forecasting and planning, and investment and project management skills. You will have excellent analytical skills, with financial modelling skills. You will have a flexible approach to work, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organisation.
