Assistant Accountant

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are recruiting an experienced Part Qualified Assistant Accountant for a market leading business based in Mansfield. Close to the motorway they are accessible from Worksop, Chesterfield, Alfreton, Edwinstowe etc.

THE JOB:

The main purpose of the role is to support the Financial Controller and the Management Accountant. Duties will include, but not limited to:

Cost monitoring for new sites developed
Liaising with Project Managers and teams
Assisting with budgets for the group
Group loan and interest reporting and reconciliations
Maintaining the Fixed Asset register
Calculating and preparing depreciation and depletion journals
Bank reconciliations
Preparing management information
Preparing departmental Reports
Sales invoicing
Stock control
Assisting with month end and year end processes

THE PERSON:

The success candidate will be part qualified CIMA / ACCA
Previous experience is essential
You must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel
The ability to work on your own initiative and with minimum supervision is essential
