Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit an EMEA Legal & Compliance Executive
The company: One of the leaders in their field and an immediately recognisable brand the company generate revenues in access of £200m and have operations all over the world incl the US, China, Japan and mainland Europe
The role: Reports to the EMEA Legal & Compliance Manager and is responsible for proving in-house legal assistance to the operating practices and protocols across the EMEA regions for the business. A diverse and varied role with a number of ad hoc projects in commercial and corporate issues.
Drafting and reviewing tender documents, export control compliance supplier and distribution EMEA agreements, warranty terms,in coming non disclosures and insurance policy arrangements will all be part of this newly created role
The person:- a newly qualified solicitor or legal consultant - commercially aware, with some previous experience negotiating/communicating or overseeing EMEA regions would very useful. Strong IT and communication skills, a 2nd European language useful but not essential. An eye for detail, commercially aware, thorough and conscientious,comfortable building business relationships across the group - adding value by challenging 'what doesn't look right'
Comfortable working within a corporate H/O in a small team
