Cutting Edge Tech and Telcoms company, with a global presence, have a new exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner.
You will deliver the financial business plan (worth over £20 million) through strategic support, management reporting, performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting and scenario analysis.
The role
Deliver MI and help deliver budgets, forecasts, trends and drivers
Support, challenge and influence the business in understanding the financial implications of key commercial decisions.
Lead procurement tender processes, to ensure the best commercial outcomes, so having Procurement and negotiation experience will be a major boost.
Provide analysis and advice on cost drivers and KPIs.
Facilitating achievement of business & financial objectives.
Checking controls and financial processes are well understood and communicated.
Ensure robust consistent financial control environment.
Identify cost efficiency opportunities.
Push for continuous improvement in finance processes and systems including forecasting cycles and the budget process.
You should be:
A Qualified accountant (Strong QBEs will be considered too)
Have demonstrated ability to think commercially and achieve operational objectives
An advanced Excel user (Good Modelling skills, but not necessarily macros)
Capable of good stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Solutions focused
Experienced in a global organization
Able to establish credibility with senior stake holders and build effective working relationships
Able to use your commercial experience to influence non-finance stakeholders
Able to interrogate data and understand underlying drivers of financial performance
Cost & project analysis - Ability to discover forecasting trends and weakness & to advise on proactive actions
