Financial Controller

Key responsibilities will include working with wider finance teams and third party advisors to certify reports and financial statements prior to delivery, liaising closely with the shared services centre to collaborate on financial reporting and analysis, delivering efficient financial reporting within agreed deadlines, managing SOx control reviews, ensuring that balance sheets comply with both US GAAP and IFRS, delivering the monthly information pack and regulatory returns, statutory accounting and driving improvements in accounting processes, partnering the business to improve the quality of information requests and supporting senior stakeholders with special projects as required.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in preparing complex, high quality management reports and budgets. Applicants must demonstrate a sound knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards and have the ability to work well under pressure. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Previous big company, matrix experience is required.
