Very friendly retail company with a very interesting product based in Slough, Berkshire have a requirement for an Assistant Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Manager the key purpose of the Assistant Accountant role is to help in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
Key tasks of the Assistant Accountant will include control of various balance sheet reconciliations including prepayment and accrual analysis and provisions, intercompany reconciliations and control of the Fixed Asset register including providing for depreciation etc.
The ideal Assistant Accountant will have good double entry skills be studying for an accountancy qualification, possess Good Excel skills and in return you will receive a salary of between £24k-£30k. A small bonus is on offer plus free car parking plus excellent other benefits including study package. The role is aimed at someone who is currently studying and wants to qualify within a few years
