Financial Accountant

An exciting opportunity to join an important and highly regarded National Authority as a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis has arisen.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the postholder will responsible for;
-Monthly reporting on financial activity across the organisation
-Assisting in the supervision of transactional finance staff and part-qualified accountants
-Working on year-end activities and acting as a main point of contact for the year-end audit
-Various other month-end duties

The client is seeking a detailed and accurate accountant and can offer the successful candidate a highly competitive salary, some of the best benefits available and long-term prospects and career progression.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified CCAB accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent), with strong experience working on year-end, ideally within a large, public-sector organisation. You will be detail orientated and have good supervisory skills and experience.
