Finance Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Accountant to join an award winning communications business as a Financial Controller. They presently T/O £20m and are looking to double that turnover moving forward. Working for a dynamic business with a diverse portfolio of revenue streams this role will become a key component of their team.

Reporting to the Finance Director your role shall entail

• Preparation of management accounts and business data to enable pivotal decision making
• Responsible for reporting actuals v forecasts
• Preparation of statutory accounts for all companies
• Monthly preparation of sales commission statements - and bonus provisions
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Responsible for ensuring revenue recognition takes place and on time
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Implementing strong controls and procedures - and ensuring processes are followed
• Cash management

• A recently Qualified Accountant
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Experience of improving processes and systems
• Strong communication skills both verbal and in writing
