Special Projects Accountant

Working within a very successful division of this International Accounting Firm you will be responsible for undertaking a varied range of accounting assignments across a broad cross section of the Firm's clients.

Candidates need to be commercially astute qualified accountants, who are comfortable working in different environments and communicating with owner managers and senior FDs.

Working closely with a variety of businesses from OMBs through to large, household names, you will be tasked with providing a range of accounting services on an interim basis within client accounting teams.

Recent projects have included: financial forecasting, business reviews, the implementation of new accounting systems, internal control reviews, year end support, "in house" preparation for year end external audit, the development of management accounting processes and more general bespoke projects related to funding and growth.

The successful candidate will need to enjoy working out on site with clients, working to the clients' deadlines in their commercially focused environment. You will relish the breadth, depth and variety of the role. It will fit well with your relatively broad range of experience and exposure to more than just statutory audit.

Perhaps you have trained in Practice and moved into industry but miss the variety and professional structure of the Firm but enjoy the more commercial focus of your industry years? Alternatively, you may be in a business services role for a smaller Firm and be keen to gain a greater exposure to more significant clients and projects.

Whatever your profile, you must be a qualified accountant and you'll be keen to work onsite with clients alongside their finance and leadership teams.
