Project Accountant

Macildowie Finance is proud to be working with a reputable small but rapidly growing business based in Newark for a Project Accountant.

The role is paying £32.5-40k and will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to take a commercial steer on key business projects and decisions.

You will report directly to the FD and have a small transactional team reporting into you.
Key duties include:
- Analysis and recommendations on cost saving & efficiency's
- Production of Management Accounts
- Leading projects and being the key point of contact from Finance
- Production of reports for FD & MD
- Some small team management
- Commercial and operation direction
- Ad-hoc duties as required

You will have similar experience within a pure project accounting role or have elements of project accounting within a more all-round role. You will be at an intermediate level with Excel. You will ideally be nearing the end of study or be fully qualified in a formal accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
