Bank Reconciliations Specialist

This is an exciting time to be joining our client as a Bank Reconciliations Specialist - as our client is a well-established, professional, global business, who are going through a period of expansion. Based at their Centre of Excellent in Bracknell, the finance team require an experienced Bank Reconciliations Specialist to work closely with the Financial Accounting team, initially on a temporary basis, with the potential of extension to a permanent role, subject to performance and sign off.

Reporting to the Team Leader, as a Bank Reconciliation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for daily bank reconciliations (multi currencies)
• Journal preparation, uploading and posting into the accounting system
• Responsible for clearing open balances from bank reconciliations daily
• Assisting with monthly and annual closings
• Developing good working relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues
• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles
• Recognising and communicating potential issues/risks within team
• Assisting with internal and external audit
• Communicating effectively at all levels of finance and non-finance contacts

As a Bank Reconciliations Specialist, your background is likely to have come from an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable background, and be looking to move into a larger accounting environment, and be available at short notice to commence this role.

You will offer a personable, engaging approach, as a Bank Reconciliations Specialist, and offer Intermediate Excel and a passion for numbers.
