Management Accountant

I am currently working with a market leading and well established FMCG brand in Cambridge. Working alongside non-finance on a regular basis, the Management accountant is expected to communicate the best outcome for the business whilst being responsible for the management accounts.

Description

The Management Accountant will be working closely alongside the commercial non-finance individuals in communicating the best outcomes for the future of the business, whilst reporting straight to the Head of Finance. You will be providing insightful analysis and be very active in the production of future strategic planning. The idea individual will be responsible for:

• Variance Analysis

• Monthly and Weekly Management accounts

• Maintaining standard operating procedures and controls

• P&L forecasting

• Capital Reporting & Fixed Assets

• Processes and Controls

• Cost Saving verification and analysis

Profile

The ideal Management Accountant will have:

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to convey their ideas and suggestions confidently

• Poise challenge when appropriate
