Details about the Client

Royal Alexandra and Albert School in Surrey, England is a boarding school for boys and girls aged 7-18. There are just over 1,000 pupils including 440 Junior, Senior and Sixth Form full boarders.

"This school is a rarity in that it is one of only a tiny number of state schools in the country which is a true boarding school - in the sense that boarders constitute a significant proportion of the whole School. There is a strong boarding ethos and we run a busy activities and trips programme which starts at 4.00 pm and ends at 10 pm on weekdays and runs through the weekend.

We are a non-selective school that nevertheless achieves excellent results. We have 170 pupils in the Sixth Form, the majority of whom are boarders, and we are planning to expand to 250 over the next few years." Mark Dixon, Headmaster.

Royal Alexandra & Albert is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
