Management Accountant

Ely, Cambridgeshire- A leading manufacturing company are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Management Accountant to join their finance function.

Reporting to the Head of Finance for the division you will be joining a fast paced environment with a diverse workload and the opportunity to interact with the wider business on the financials and impact these have across the production phase.

The role will entail weekly management accounts production with associated KPI's and commentary for the division, you would take an active approach to both the budget and forecast process with timely re-forecasting of financial results including reviewing the budget per product. The role will enable you to take on an autonomous role to help the wider business understand the financial impact on production while taking an analytical approach to spot trends and opportunities to cost save. The role will encompass month end with all associated financial metrics included alongside supporting commentary. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic individual who is more than happy to challenge the 'norm' while taking an analytical approach to finance.

The successful applicant will ideally hold an accounting qualification (ACCA,ACA,CIMA) who in their final stages of study who is looking for the opportunity to gain well rounded experience in a commercial position. Applicants who are qualified by experience with relevant sector exposure will also be considered. You will have excellent excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot tables and macros) with the ability to manipulate large volumes of data with a confident approach and no stranger to discussing findings to non finance individual's and the impact these will have.

Salary £35,000- £45,000 p.a
