As Senior Financial Analyst you will lead the delivery of financial forecasts and strategic plans.

Leading global insurance company based in West Kent.
Description
As Senior Financial Analyst you will be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of the 5 year strategic financial plans, ensuring any projections are realistic and highlighting risks and opportunities
- Leading the delivery of budgets and forecasts - you will be required to challenge assumptions
- Supporting the Head of FP&A in ensuring that the company achieves sustainable levels of profitability through appropriate target setting
- Preparing board papers, presenting key business issues
- Carrying out financial appraisals of projects, to ensure investment decisions are made in line with agreed strategy and financial targets
Profile
You will be a Qualified Accountant and MUST have experience of working within the insurance sector. An understanding of Solvency II would be helpful.
You must be able to work independently and under pressure. You should also be able to demonstrate experience of working with and challenging senior stakeholders.
As this is a maternity cover contract role my client is ideally looking for someone to start ASAP, but we can consider someone on a 1 month notice period.
