Commercial Finance Manager

Qualified Commercial Finance Manager for a multinational manufacturing business to the West of Birmingham.

Your new company
A multinational niche manufacturing company with operations across the globe, you will be working in the UK Head Office of this organisation. The group are market leaders in their field with an enviable client base.

Your new role
As Commercial Finance Manager you will report into the Head of Finance and be responsible for two streams of the business. You will take responsibility for the European subsidiaries and the role will involve travel at least once a month to Europe. International mobility is therefore essential. The role will oversee the day to day running of the accounts function including the monthly management accounts and year end work. You will also work alongside the different General Managers in each country and provide business partnering support from a Finance perspective.
An ability to engage with stakeholders across the business is vital, you will work closely with the Sales Director and provide commentary on the monthly profit and loss accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully Qualified Accountant from either practice or industry and be able to demonstrate a proven track record partnering within a business. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential coupled with an ability to provide commentary to non finance people. The role involves European travel so flexibility to achieve this is vital. Advanced excel is beneficial.
