Divisional Reporting Accountant

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap is delighted to be working with a business in Leeds centre to recruit a reporting accountant to join the team. This role reports into the Finance Director and the primary objective is to support the FD in producing monthly management accounts and management information.

Your role will be to:

• To produce and develop the Division's monthly management accounts, executive reports and management information.
• Monitoring the performance and accuracy of reports and taking corrective action to optimise or improve the performance of the reports when necessary.
• To assist with queries from stakeholders relating to internal management reports including any Group queries.
• Ensure actions from monthly Sector and Divisional reviews are followed up and closed promptly
• To coordinate the budget procedure to meet both local and Group requirements
• To prepare the Budget reports for the division (including P&Ls, Cashflow and Balance Sheet)
• To assist with the integration of new acquisitions or disposals and ensure business changes are updated in the reporting environment
• To provide ad hoc assistance to the Divisional Finance Director, Head of Finance in each Sector and the wider finance team as and when required.
• Manage finance projects and implement appropriate actions as determined by the business in accordance with agreed timelines and expectations

You will be a qualified accountant who has previously worked in a fast paced environment and has had experience of senior stakeholder interaction. You will work effectively in a small team have a high level of commercial acumen to drive continuous improvement.
