Reed Finance is working with a leading not-for profit organisation in North Liverpool for a new Finance Director.
We are looking to appoint an inspiring, dynamic individual who can play a key role in the next phase of their development, whilst they go through key strategic changes to the organisation. You will be responsible for the financial management, providing vison and advice on key strategic issues and liaise with all relevant bodies including external advisors, auditors and governing body. You will hold excellent leadership ability and ideally hold experience within the education sector. Applications without the direct experience will still be considered, however.
The role is expected to evolve over time and will require a responsiveness and proactive character in order to respond to ever changing, challenging environments and strategic priorities. You will be responsible for all aspects of funding and financial/statutory returns, including statutory accounts, reports to Governing body. This role will have one direct report, and therefore will require a "roll your sleeves up" mentality and thrive on getting involved where possible.
